PonPilot
How it works

One command on your MikroTik. That's the setup.

Your OLTs and ONTs stay on private addresses. Your own router opens an encrypted tunnel to PonPilot, and everything travels through it.

1. Create your account

You get your own panel at yourisp.ponpilot.com with a free 14-day trial.

2. Create a tunnel

Choose the tunnel type that suits your router (RouterOS 6 or 7) and list your management networks.

3. Paste the command

A one-time command, valid for 5 minutes, connects your MikroTik. The status turns green within seconds.

4. Add your OLTs

Enter each OLT's address and login. PonPilot reads all boards, PONs and ONTs in about a minute.

Encrypted

All traffic between your network and PonPilot runs inside an encrypted tunnel. Nothing on your network is exposed to the internet.

Only adds, never removes

The setup command adds its own items to your router and touches nothing else. You can remove it at any time.

Your own ACS

Your ONTs report to your own PonPilot ACS through the same tunnel. No extra server or port forwarding.

Your data stays yours

Each customer runs on a separate, isolated system. Your OLTs, ONTs, customers and graphs are never shared with anyone.

Your own address

yourisp.ponpilot.com, served over HTTPS only.

Separate system

Your database, ACS and graphs run apart from every other customer's.

Backed up

Your panel data and your OLT configurations are backed up every night.

Moving from another system

Can I keep my current panel running while I test?

Yes. PonPilot can watch an OLT read-only while your current system stays in charge. When you are ready, you switch one site at a time.

What about names, zones and PPPoE users?

The import brings names, addresses, contacts, zones, ODBs, PPPoE usernames and coordinates across, and checks them against what is really on the OLT.

Will customers notice the switch?

No. Moving ONTs to PonPilot happens live, ONT by ONT, without reboots or dropped sessions. We help you plan and run it.
